Being one of the butchers and Grocers situated at the entrance of East Street Market run by Pakistanis, SK is the humble treasure house of ample oriental spices, fruits, rice and fresh meat. The ingredients connect culture, people and appetite under the core of cooking South Asian cuisine: Layering and Gathering.
PEOPLE AT SK
SK is a place for gathering: not only for vegetables, fruit, meat, and canned goods, but also for people. Staff from different departments and customers look inside from the entrance, while those inside call out to people passing on the pavement. I record these people.
